Stockholm

History:

Stockholm is a classic vessel built in 1953 for the Swedish National Maritime Administration. In 1999 she was totally refitted and started her career as a comfortable polar passenger ship. She carries a maximum of 12 passengers in outside twin cabins, all with upper and lower berth and private facilities. She is a marvellous piece of maritime history with beautiful brass details and pine decks.

Stockholm deck plan

Our opinion on this vessel:

Stockholm is a comfortable ship for people who wish to travel in small groups. The small size of the boat and its steel hull allow to attend some areas less visited or not accessible to other ships. It has observation decks, a cozy square. The size of the ship and the group makes it easy to adapt the program based on events (ice, wildlife, nice navigation…), without the inherent inertia of bigger ship. Stockholm is a boat in which you will quickly feel “at home”…
